Langkah ini dilakukan guna menekan lonjakan masyarakat yang akan melakukan perjalanan mudik menggunakan kendaraan pribadi, serta mengurangi kepadatan di jalan raya.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cKemenhub kembali menyelenggarakan Program Mudik Gratis seperti pada tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Meskipun di tengah keterbatasan anggaran, program ini tetap kami jalankan guna menekan jumlah penggunaan kendaraan pribadi dan mengurangi kepadatan di jalan raya selama periode Lebaran, serta yang paling penting demi alasan keselamatan para pemudik,\u201d ujar Menhub Dudy, di Jakarta, Kamis (6\/3\/2025).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Menhub Dudy menjelaskan berpergian jarak jauh menggunakan kendaraan pribadi, khususnya sepeda motor, punya potensi kecelakaan yang cukup tinggi. Karena itu, ia mengajak masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan Program Mudik Gratis yang diselenggarakan Kemenhub atau pihak-pihak lain, baik Kementerian\/Lembaga, BUMN, atau perusahaan swasta guna menghindari hal-hal yang tak diinginkan selama dalam perjalanan.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cKami tidak bosan-bosan mengimbau masyarakat agar seyogyanya tidak melakukan perjalanan jarak jauh menggunakan sepeda motor, mengingat potensi bahaya kecelakaan yang cukup tinggi. Kami sangat berharap masyarakat dapat mudik menggunakan angkutan umum yang sudah melalui ramp check atau memanfaatkan Program Mudik Gratis yang diselenggarakan oleh Kemenhub. Sebab selain penumpang, sepeda motor pemudik juga akan diangkut secara gratis, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk bermobilitas di tempat tujuan,\u201d terang Menhub.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Menhub Dudy menyampaikan mulai tahun ini, Kemenhub akan mengkoordinasikan Program Mudik Gratis yang diselenggarakan oleh berbagai pihak agar pelaksanaannya bisa lebih efektif dan efisien. Untuk informasi lebih lengkap mengenai program mudik gratis ini, masyarakat dapat mengikuti melalui akun media sosial @kemenhub151.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cKami ingin penyelenggaraan Program Mudik Gratis bisa lebih terkontrol. Harapannya, tidak ada lagi pemudik yang melakukan pendaftaran di lebih dari satu tempat,\u201d sebutnya.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Program Mudik Gratis yang diselenggarakan oleh Kemenhub tersedia melalui jalur darat, laut, serta kereta api, dan digelar di beberapa titik simpul transportasi. Untuk jalur darat, Ditjen Perhubungan Darat menyediakan 520 unit bus untuk 21.536 penumpang serta 10 unit truk untuk mengangkut 300 sepeda motor, pada arus mudik dan balik Lebaran 2025. Terdapat 31 kota tujuan Mudik Gratis yang tersebar di wilayah Sumatera, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, dan Jawa Timur.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Kemudian untuk jalur laut, Ditjen Perhubungan Laut menyediakan \u201cTiket Gratis Kapal Laut\u201d dengan kuota 47.816 penumpang dan jumlah rute sebanyak 153 ruas.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Berikutnya untuk kereta api, Ditjen Perkeretaapian menyelenggarakan \u201cProgram Mudik Gratis Sepeda Motor dengan Kereta Api\u201d dengan kuota 16.960 penumpang dan 7.424 unit sepeda motor.
