Anak muda Kota Bandung harus punya rencana hidup, bertanggung jawab, dan bisa jadi contoh yang baik bagi teman-temannya,\u201d ujar Erwin pada kegiatan Grand Final Duta GenRe Kota Bandung tahun 2025, di Hotel Haris Festival Citylink, Jumat 20 Juni 2025.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Menurutnya, kegiatan ini sejalan dengan prinsip meaningful youth participation atau pelibatan remaja secara bermakna.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cKita tidak ingin remaja hanya jadi objek program. Kita ingin mereka terlibat aktif dari perencanaan hingga evaluasi. Inilah cara kita mencetak pemimpin sejak muda,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Ia bangga karena ajang ini memberi ruang bagi generasi muda untuk menyuarakan gagasan dan ikut membangun karakter bangsa.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cSaya bangga karena kegiatan ini memberi ruang bagi remaja untuk menyampaikan ide-ide cemerlang mereka. Ini bukan sekadar ajang intelektual, tapi juga untuk membentuk remaja yang kuat secara moral, tangguh secara sosial, dan adaptif secara budaya,\u201d tuturnya.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Erwin mengingatkan agar para juri menilai secara objektif agar para juara yang terpilih benar-benar layak menjadi panutan.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cSaya titip ke para juri, pilihlah juara yang betul-betul siap dan mampu jadi contoh. Ilmu yang mereka dapat harus bisa mereka terapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari,\u201d kata Erwin.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Ia menyampaikan pesan kepada seluruh remaja Kota Bandung untuk mampu bergaul secara positif hingga mampu membentuk jiwa kepemimpinan di lingkungan masing+masing.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cPerkuat agama, cintai tempat tinggal, giat menuntut ilmu, aktif berorganisasi, dan bergaul dengan masyarakat. Semua itu akan membentuk jiwa kepemimpinan dan karakter yang kokoh,\u201d ungkapnya.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana Kota Bandung, Anhar Hadian menjelaskan, program GenRe merupakan upaya membentuk karakter remaja agar terhindar dari tiga ancaman utama remaja: seks bebas, pernikahan dini, dan penyalahgunaan narkoba (Napza).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cProgram GenRe ini tidak hanya edukatif, tapi juga aplikatif. Remaja diajak untuk jadi agen perubahan bagi teman-temannya dalam hal kesehatan reproduksi, keterampilan hidup, dan kesiapan berkeluarga,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Pemilihan Duta GenRe, lanjutnya, telah melalui berbagai tahapan seleksi ketat, mulai dari administrasi, tes tertulis, wawancara hingga pemaparan program inovasi.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201c20 finalis terpilih berasal dari 14 kecamatan. Mereka akan menjadi ujung tombak dalam mengedukasi remaja di wilayah masing-masing,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Dengan pemilihan Duta GenRe ini, Pemkot Bandung berharap dapat melahirkan generasi muda yang tidak hanya cakap secara akademik, tetapi juga memiliki integritas, karakter kuat, dan mampu menjadi teladan bagi sesama.
